The EL 996L Electrified Lever Trim is one of the trims designed for the 98 and 99 series Von Duprin panic bars. A key locks and unlocks the door, unlike the Night Latch Trims. The lever handle opens the door. This trim can also be electronically controlled from a remote location or access control device. This is ideal for securing public buildings such as offices, hospitals, and schools. The Von Duprin EL 996L Electrified Lever Trim comes in two voltage settings of 12 volt or 24 volt DC and also can be fail safe or fail secure. Fail safe is that when the lock loses power, it unlocks to allow people outside. Fail secure stays locked even with a loss of power. Features:
